Elissa graduated from the University of Queensland in 2008 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She has experience working across the public and private sectors in Australia, France, and the United Kingdom. She has completed further training in Clinical Pilates, dry needling, and courses from the Neuro Orthopaedic Institute and Manual Concepts including a Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in 2016.

Elissa aims to empower clients utilizing a holistic approach and variety of treatment modalities including education, exercise, and manual therapy. Her goal is to help clients to reach the best version of themselves physically and mentally, to create a better understanding of their condition, good habits, and healthy lifestyle changes. Her interests include post-operative lower limb and spinal rehabilitation and the neurophysiology of persistent pain.

Outside of work Elissa enjoys leading an active outdoor lifestyle and will take any opportunity to go for a run with her dog, climb up a mountain or fly down one.
